When you submit a shipping quote request, we collect:
Full name: to identify you and personalise our response.
Email address: to send quote confirmations and follow-ups.
WhatsApp number: our primary channel for dispatch communication.
Vehicle details: year, make, model, and VIN (for vehicle quotes).
Cargo details: description, weight, and number of units (for cargo quotes).
Drop-off date: to schedule logistics planning (optional).
We do not collect payment card data, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.
3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)
To provide the service: processing your quote request is necessary to fulfil our contract with you.
Legitimate interest: contacting you via WhatsApp to confirm route pricing and logistics details.
Legal compliance: retaining records as required by US and destination-country customs regulations.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only with the service providers needed to operate our business:
Twilio Inc.: used to send automated WhatsApp alerts to our dispatch team when a quote is submitted. Your name, WhatsApp number, and shipment details are included in that message.
Supabase: our secure cloud database where quote records are stored. Data is encrypted at rest.
We never sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
Quote records are retained for 24 months from the date of submission. This covers the typical shipping and customs clearance window for international shipments. After that, records are permanently deleted.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to:
Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
Deletion: request that we delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Objection: object to how we process your data.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Stored records are encrypted at rest via Supabase's infrastructure. Access to quote data is restricted to authorised Onwa Global dispatch staff only.

We may update this policy as our services grow. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
